Being mobile, crossing borders and all the different kinds of migration are as old as mankind and have always attracted people who are genuinely curious. They were traders and merchants, some missionaries. And their hearts and souls always needed wings – to stay in touch with the loved ones at home as well as to make sense of new experiences. Jutta Depner is originally from Germany and made her first experience abroad as an exchange student in Japan. Today, she is feeling at home in Japan, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Germany. Accademically she is a Master of Arts in Political Science and Japanese Studies, on top oft that she is a certified Intercultural Trainer and a certified coach. Her languages are German and English plus some conversational Japanese. Her professional experience ranges from Federal Politics in Germany via the German Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo to Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt. After relocating to Hong Kong and establishing her family there she started to support expats, companies and universities in all kinds of cross-cultural matters. After moving back in 2019 she continues in her profession from Germany. Jutta is focussing the work with her clients on actively shaping the challenges they are facing. Her training and coaching is scientifically based and she spices them up with her broad personal experience. Her goal is to give all her clients the tools to have success and joy in their changing locations and roles.
