Supriya Gopi is Indian by birth. She holds a Master‘s Degree in German Literature and Linguistics and taught German as a foreign language for more than 10 years at the Goethe-Institut in India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad). She has successfully undergone a Train the Trainer Program (Intercultural Competence for Practitioners & Trainers (ICPT)) through the University of Portland, USA. She is certified as an ‘expert cross-cultural facilitator’ by Language and Culture Worldwide (LCW), Chicago, USA.
She has been an intercultural trainer since 2001, starting at Robert Bosch India Limited in Bangalore, where she ran workshops on international collaboration for Central Europe and Asia, in addition to intercultural training. Since 2006, she is a freelance trainer and consultant. She has trained more than 3000 participants from over 30 nationalities so far. Her participants include employees, Senior Managers, Executives and Expatriates from the sectors IT (Hardware and Software), automobiles, telecommunications, Research and Development, technical mainstream, laboratory analytics and manufacturing.
Her main focus areas in training include as well as and . Moreover, she also conducts trainings on Leadership, and She trains in German and English language. She works for ti communication as a freelance consultant.
