Monika Krause (M.A.) is an intercultural trainer, consultant, and coach, and has been serving companies around the world in the most varied of industries since 2004. She studied Sinology, economics, and journalism at the Free University of Berlin, in Shanghai and Taipei, and also completed a vocational business training program.
Since 2008, she has been self-employed, supporting companies and individuals in their interaction with Asian countries and in Germany. Her main training focus is on the following: intercultural management training for China and Southeast Asia, expat preparation for technical and managerial staff and their families traveling abroad, seminars on intercultural sensitization, training for Germany, and coaching during foreign assignments. Before becoming self-employed, she had spent years working for companies in the realm of business and sales, such as in international teams with managerial responsibility at Siemens AG in Berlin and Munich, as well as in the Export department of a midsize enterprise in Berlin. From 2005 to 2008, she lived and worked in Zhuhai, China, where she conducted intercultural trainings for the Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce and the Zhongshan University. Currently she is traveling once or twice a year to China or Southeast Asia.
