The Role of Corporate Culture in the Success of Agile Organizations
5. June 2024What makes us passionate, creative and innovative as a team?
We explored this question in a team workshop with Anna Corbett at the end of July. Because, like many of our international clients, the ti communication team works as a hybrid. With offices in Regensburg, Vienna, Weimar and occasionally Sweden, it’s not easy to make time for creativity and innovation together.
At the beginning, we were first asked to clarify what it means for each of us to be creative and innovative and were told: “Build a sculpture that expresses creativity and the spirit of innovation for you.”

We quickly realized that even in a fairly small team, we have very different ideas and requirements for the framework conditions for innovative and creative work. With the help of LEGO Serious Play and the moderation of Anna, we managed to find a particularly good consensus as a team - the basis for our action plan.
In teams, we defined which topics we would like to make even more innovative in the future - on the one hand to fully exploit the potential of our team - and on the other hand to be even better available to our customers as an innovative sparring partner. The next step was to familiarize ourselves with the SCAMPER method and get very specific: Which processes will we tackle, how and when? After all, a workshop is only successful if we can take practical steps towards implementation.
This day, we once again experienced first-hand what we always convey to our customers: Team workshops under professional guidance are a huge benefit! Many thanks again to Anna, who gave us the following at the end - which we are happy to share with our readers:
“Allow yourself to leave familiar ways of thinking - your head needs a little time, but at some point it will become relatively automatic. Methods and practice will help you...and as you have - rightly - stated: successes can be celebrated!”
