Dr. Laurenz Awater is an organizational development expert who works as leadership trainer, coach and management consultant. Based in Shanghai since 2003 he draws from a large pool of knowledge and experience working with foreign-onvested companies mainly from the DACH region and Western Europe on leadership and team development, cross-cultural collaboration and intercultural competencies in leading international teams. Born in Germany he has now more 20 years of first-hand China experience and in-depth knowledge of how to address organizational development issues and create high-performance organizations in China and Southeast Asia. Besides inhouse programs for leaders and management teams he also runs, together with a partner, a one-year general-manager program called ‘Corporate Entrepreneurship in China’ which stands out for his coaching-style approach and focus on the particular needs of a small group of participants.
