Sujata Banerjee is an Indian national, born in Germany, who spent her formative years in Germany, India and Italy. She was board member of a family-owned business in India and gained entrepreneurial experiences, both from a customer and a supplier perspective. After her M.A in Rhetoric, German Literature and Regional Economics she began to draft speeches for international conferences, such as the World Economic Forum. She is a well-received speaker, panel moderator and keynoter in her own right. Her first training experience was gained between 1992-1996 in intercultural competence, strategic marketing and the selection of high potentials in Eastern Europe. Between 1994-1998, she deepened her understanding of customer-centric services as a cultural study tour guide in Scotland, India and Italy. Since 1996, she has been regularly conducting team building workshops, preparation and reintegration coaching for expats and their families, coaching of employees during internationalization processes, consulting and training for organizations in M and A processes from the due diligence stage up to the recruitment and retention of employees, as well as region – specific trainings and workshops. Other key areas lie in optimizing collaboration between Indian and Chinese teams, conducted on site, as well as enabling remote team cohesion, efficiency and trust. Since 2005 Sujata Banerjee has collaborated with institutions such as the VDMA for conferences and workshops, focusing on Best Practices for the Indian market. Since 2010 she has been a regular lecturer in India and Germany in the areas of Strategic Communication and International Business. Her current homes are Berlin in Germany and Pune in India.
