Ulrike A. Kaunzner is a professor for German literature and linguistics at the University of Modena, Italy. With a doctorate in linguistics and speech training, she has worked as a freelance senior trainer and consultant for intercultural competence, public speaking and communication since 1984. In addition to her education in Germany, she studied and worked first at Willamette University (Oregon, USA) and then at Vanderbilt University (Tennessee, USA). Since 1990, she has been working in Italy, first at the University of Bologna and as of 2004 at the University of Ferrara. Furthermore, she has successfully completed a didactics training programme at the Institute of Intercultural Communication (Portland, USA). Ulrike A. Kaunzner conducts training courses for companies in a wide variety of industries, internationally, but primarily in Germany.
