Since years, China is Germany’s largest trading partner. Often the German knowledge about China is still limited and biased by media coverage and individual projections about each other. Covid has magnified the collaboration challenge between teams and sites – working from home offices with initially limited technical equipment on both sides, prevalence of virtual exchanges over online meetings, limited travel options to Chinese subsidiaries which are expected to last into 2022 etc. Given all these constraints and cultural magnifiers in the virtual context, misunderstandings in Sino-German project teams have been on the rise.
Our intercultural business training provides a refresher of the Chinese mindset and highlights selected cultural, political, historical and economic backgrounds and actual developments. Depending on the needs of the participants, the following topics, for example, which play a role in working with Chinese business partners and colleagues, can be examined:
Workshop Part 1: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Lunch break: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Workshop Part 2: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The price is valid per person. Ask for group discounts.
This course is possible both virtual and face to face.
We will contact you to arrange a specific training date.
